I was born and raised in Ft. Myers, Florida and am the oldest of three children. Faith-wise, I was privileged to be raised in the United Methodist Church, where I learned to love Jesus. I graduated from Florida State University in 1996 with a Bachelors degree in Pure Mathematics and a minor in Physics. It was during my college years at Florida State University that I experienced the Lord leading me into the Catholic Church. I later joined the Brotherhood of Hope in 1997 and made my final vows in 2005.

When I was a student at FSU, I lived in Landis Dorm for my first 3 years of college. It was the "Honors" Dorm then, which meant I was so smart, that I didn't really believe that God was real. I felt that He was more like Santa Claus, this fictional character that my parents wanted me to believe in so that I would be a good kid and stay out of trouble. But then, Fall of my sophomore year, I met the woman I thought I would marry. She spoke of Jesus in a way as if He was real. That really got me to thinking. If God is real, then I want to know Him. After our first date, I stayed up all night yelling at God. "If you're real show up! Otherwise, don't waste my time!"

God showed up.

I experienced the Lord being real and that He was inviting me to be in a relationship with Him. He showed me through the Scripture story in Luke 15, that I was His prodigal son and that He is my loving Father, who indeed loves me, wants the best for me and welcomes me home.

As my faith journey has continued all these years, I am more and more convinced of how much the Lord loves you and loves me. The Scripture passage above, Jeremiah 29:11-14 is very true! The Lord has amazing plans you and has amazing plans for me! I pray that you too will "seek the Lord with all your heart" and experience all the amazing blessings He wants to pour out in your life.
